Katey Petrey McCarney graduated from Longwood College in 2000 with a degree in graphic design and photography and uses her knowledge to create beautiful and functional websites for her clients in Richmond, VA and beyond. She has been in the Web industry since 2007. In 2010, she set out on her own and created PetreyDish.Com. She has many business mentors she looks up to and is always looking to learn more in her field, either by reading, taking classes or participating in online chats. Katey also finds any reason to take photos and work on her photography and photo editing skills.
In the evenings when she isn't working, you can find her excercising or in the kitchen cooking and/or baking. She loves putting a healthier twist on traditional family recipes. She enjoys researching to come up with her own recipes. You may have seen her in the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Food Section.
Katey is also a member of the Virginia United Methodist Board of Communications and a member of The United Methodist Association of Communicators (UMAC) and was asked to run two workshops at the 2014 conference.
On the weekends you will find her helping friends with their catering business, at church, or spending time with family. She and her husband are also rescue dogs. They are excited to report that our latest foster has found his forever home!
