4 Essential Facebook Page Apps

My list of essential Facebook Page Apps!

There are some essential apps that all small business owners should use. I saved you time and energy and did the legwork for you!

1) Facebook App

It sounds silly, but the basic app is good for a few reasons. It allows you to participate in groups (hello networking!!) and create events amongst other reasons. There has been a lot in the news about it. It’s great for regular connection, networking and more. Please remember that if you want your Facebook profile to be professional, avoid the hot topics (guns, politics, drunken escapades, etc). If you are going to be posting about these topics, please be respectful and gentle with your words. You don’t want your opinions ruining business relationships.

2) PhotoGrid App

Need a collage? Want to create your own memes? This free app can make that happen. You can use your photos or use stock images. With lots of font styles to choose from you can make some professional visual quotes, a cute pet meme or a collage for a single post. You can also use the photo editor options, but I will admit, it isn’t my favorite.

3) Pages Manager App

When in the Pages Manager app you know that you are using Facebook as your business. The regular app still to this day, can’t make up its mind if you are going to use the page as the page, or end up responding as your individual self. To make sure you use your business Page as your Page, use Pages Manager.

4) Habits App

It’s totally free and allows to you “create new habits”. This app will notify you asking you if you’ve done something. Want to market daily? Have Habit remind you! It will ask the simple question “did you market today?” Want to Post to social media daily? Create the desired list in Habit and it will notify you at the time you set. Not only does it work for business, but you can use it for personal life too. I use it not only for a daily reminder to do generic marketing (to me if I’ve posted on social media, created a blog post, worked on a newsletter, participating in online chats… you get the idea… it counts) but I also use it to remember when my dog needs her chemo (every other day).
