Hug a tree and market digitally.

Google Docs

I enjoy Google Docs for many reasons. Whether it’s a spreadsheet, slideshow, forms, or document, Google has the basics covered. You can even email larger items, like Dropbox, to other Google users. It’s safe and secure.

I can share a single document or a whole folder where a group can drop documents in to collaborate on. You can access the documents from your computer or your smartphone. Work in the office, at home or on the road and keep up to date with others working on the same project. Have I mentioned that it’s also FREE!!

Several of us can work on one project the same time and see the changes in real time. If you are more controlling, you can send it for review and they can make suggestions without altering the document. Sharing projects on Google Drive narrows down outdated copies floating around, simultaneous rewrites (double work), and wondering who has the most recent version. Google records all the changes so you can revert back to older versions. (Where did that paragraph go?) All older versions are in one place and you can see who did what and when. Talk about reducing clutter and streamlining collaboration!! Yay for hugging trees.
