Last week, I gave the long awaited Facebook Page Training. It was a small class, which we all really liked because I could answer all their pressing questions and make sure they walked away with great information to improve their Facebook Page. I was also able to walk around and point things out on their computers and tablets so everyone was on the same page. Everyone got a handout that was loaded with great information so they could refresh their memory after the class ended.
I started the training by hitting on the key differences between a Personal Profile verses a Business Page. If your business is set up like a profile (which is a common mistake), it is not correct and should be corrected. Your Page does not have friends, it has likes/fans.
Several from the group asked for a level 2 training session because they were so excited from everything they learned from this class. Also, I have made plans to do the session again in April, so keep your eyes open for that! To learn more about the upcoming class, click here.
Here are a few testimonials from the class.
What a great class to learn how to promote my business through Facebook! I also learned how everything is connected and ways to speed up my posts. I would recommend this to anyone that has a business Facebook page. Katey not only answered our questions, but showed us “on our pages” with real time results. I’m ready for the Advanced Class!

While almost anybody can learn to do Facebook with a 10 year old around, it takes a pro to show you how to use Facebook to grow your business. Katey McCarney of Petreydish.com is just that pro. I recently took one of her Facebook seminar’s and learned how thru many sites to grow my bbq catering business with not just words but linking pictures to those words. Using Pinterest, Tumblr, and Instagram to name a few . She taught me how to link all of these to my Facebook account so when we have food pictures, they will show up on my Facebook business page. I highly recommend Petreydish.com if you want to grow your business thru social media.
